What Are Parents Saying?

Parents Evening Survey October 2024

Over the course of 2 evenings, more than 130 responses were recorded in our 'Gem in the Jar' style activity, organised by members of the Local Academy Committee to collect parent opinion of the school.  As well as the results below, parents were asked to share any comments that they had about life at NCS. 

"We think the school is amazing all round.  We highly recommend the school to everyone we meet.  Keep doing what you are doing!"

"Really lovely school with a community feel"

"Very patient with my child.  Offers more than enough support.  Me and my child love this school!"

"Thanks to all the staff"

"Brilliant School!  Great Vales!  Cannot fault the school!"

"The Teachers can't do enough for my daughter"

"I'm really happy with the school"

"My child loves school"

However, the results of the parent survey showed us that more work is needed on communication, and one parent raised questions with regards to the current behaviour policy, and how more challenging behaviour is dealt with in contrast to children with less challenging behaviour.  A further survey is scheduled for Autumn 2 to find out more about parent's thoughts and ideas regarding communication and behaviour, and will feed into the scheduled review on the behaviour policy in time for the new term in Spring 2025.
