Spiritual Team
What is Spirituality?
At Newbold Church School, we see spirituality as a journey of discovering more about ourselves, our relationships with others, and our place in the world. It is about developing compassion, resilience, and responsibility.
Through spirituality, we encourage children to grow in understanding, learning to care for themselves, others, and the world around them.
A key part of our approach is fostering a deep connection with nature. Time spent outdoors provides children with opportunities to experience awe and wonder, to find peace and calm, and to develop a heartfelt appreciation for the environment. Nature offers a meaningful space for play, reflection, and connection—helping children contemplate their experiences, strengthen relationships, and nurture their sense of wellbeing.
By exploring spirituality in this way, we aim to support children in becoming thoughtful, caring individuals who value their inner world, their community, and the world we all share.
